Get started with OpenTag3D without committing to hundreds of tags. Polar Filament sells these NTAG215 NFC tags individually, so you can purchase exactly the quantity you need.

You do not have to purchase NFC tags from Polar Filament. Compatible tags from third-party suppliers will work just as well. If you prefer to source your own tags, read our Getting Started with OpenTag3D guide for tag specifications and purchasing recommendations.

We use NTAG215 tags because they have enough memory to support the Extended OpenTag3D format. We do not sell NTAG213 tags, which have less memory and support only the limited Core format.

These tags are compatible with Android phones, iPhones, and other NFC readers and writers, including Proxmark3, Flipper Zero, and USB NFC hardware.

We recommend adding tags to another Polar Filament order to avoid unnecessary shipping costs. Our shipping estimates are designed for heavy spools of filament, not tiny NFC tags, so ordering tags by themselves may result in disproportionately high shipping charges.
