This was our first R&D batch of PC. I was almost able to dial in settings, but the pellets were definitely not dry enough, so there are bubbles in the filament.
There is also a lot of ovality in this filament. It may be very challenging to print, but it theoretically should still work.
I’ll be continuing R&D to solve the bubbles + ovality, but this first batch should be enough to do printing research to dial in optimal printing temperatures.
During extrusion, we used temps of 300-315C. Anything below 300 wouldn’t melt the plastic enough. We still don’t have recommended printing temperatures or recommendations on print beds/enclosures yet. This is extremely early on.
