Notice of Price Increase

Effective Friday, 6/12/26, we will be raising our prices from $21.99/kg to $24.99/kg.

We take “Made in the USA” seriously.  We don’t just care about extruding filament in the US, but also where the raw materials and supplies come from.  Everything from resin (raw plastic pellets) and colorant to spools and boxes.

We also make pure filament with ZERO fillers. In our print farm, we prioritize consistency, strength, and reliability over anything else, and these priorities shape the filament we make.

We’ve absorbed many price increases over the years on raw materials, supplies, and labor.  We’ve been able to combat this in the past through growth, efficiency, and automation.  However, the most recent price increases that have stacked up are too much to ignore, and we refuse to cut corners by replacing our existing suppliers with overseas alternatives or by adding fillers to our filament. 

We are truly appreciative of the 3D printing community that has allowed us to grow and improve over the years.  The receptiveness, friendliness, and helpfulness of everyone on our discord server and other social media is one of the strongest driving forces behind Polar Filament. We plan to continue hosting and attending events, sponsoring projects and makers, and overall giving back to the 3D printing community that has given so much to us.
